Blackbox is an anonymous marketplace for exceptional operating talent. Not a job board. Not a recruiter list. Something quieter, and considerably more selective. If someone sent you here, they thought you belonged.
The structure stays simple on purpose. Fewer steps, less noise, more discretion. Three things happen, in this order.
Your profile contains your function, years of experience, industry background, and comp range. No name. No current employer. No LinkedIn URL. Nothing that traces back to you.
When a hiring manager in our network is looking for someone like you, we surface your profile, and nothing else. You hear from us only when it is worth your time.
No application. No competing with 200 other resumes. Our clients look here before they post anywhere. You get the first look, or no look at all.
The point is not to make you public. The point is to make you discoverable without putting you at risk.
Five protections, applied by default to every profile in the network.
Not with clients, not in shortlists, not in any communication that leaves this network.
We strip any context that could be reverse-engineered to identify where you currently work.
No LinkedIn, portfolio, GitHub, or social handles appear on your profile, anywhere.
If a client wants an introduction, we ask you first. We never move without your sign-off.
Removed within 24 hours. No questions, no follow-up, no re-engagement sequence.
There is no terms-of-service version of this. The network only works because the people in it already understand how it should work. These are the things we will never have to ask you to do.
If someone sent you this link, they thought you belonged here. That is the whole filter. You do not need to explain what Blackbox is when you share it. Just send the link.
The value of this network is tied directly to how selective it stays. The more people who know about it, the less it works. If you think someone belongs here, share the link. Do not brief them. Do not post it. Do not screenshot it.
Discretion is not a rule we enforce. It is a quality of the people who are in it. If you have to explain why someone should be here, they probably should not be.
You are welcome to share. Exclusively.
Only vetted hiring managers inside our client network. Not recruiters, not job boards, not aggregators. Every client is known to us personally before they get access to a brief.
Your function, years of experience, industry background, and comp expectations. That is it. No name, no employer, no identifiers of any kind. If a piece of context is precise enough to identify you, we leave it out.
No. Your profile is built to prevent that. We remove your name, your current company, and any detail that could be used to identify you, including overlapping specifics like team size, tenure, or niche toolsets that could narrow the field. A viewer sees a profile, not a person. Even if your employer had access to this network, which they do not, they could not trace it back to you.
No. Every match is reviewed before anything reaches you. You will not hear from us unless the fit is real. No sequences, no nurture campaigns, no quarterly check-ins.
Email us directly or click the unsubscribe link in any message we send. You are removed within 24 hours. No follow-up, no re-engagement campaigns, no "are you sure" sequence.
No. You are not on the market. You are just visible to the right people when the right thing comes up. Most members never move. They just know they would be the first call if they ever did.
A few quick fields. Takes about ninety seconds. We use your name and LinkedIn only to verify who you are. Neither is ever shared with clients without your explicit sign-off.
Typical response within 48 hours. Not everyone is admitted.
We review every submission individually. If you are a fit, you will hear from us. If you are not, it is not personal.
We never share your name, employer, LinkedIn, or any identifying information without your explicit permission. To be removed from the network, email us directly or use the unsubscribe link in any message we send.
